What are the eligibility criteria required for getting the NTSE scholarship?

1) Students studying in class 10 in Govt/Local Body/Govt Aided school/private school are eligible to apply
2) Applicants must have scored 40% in class 9 exam to appear the scholarship
3) Candidates enrolled under open schooling are also eligible to apply for getting this scholarship
4) The important point to be noted that candidates are not allowed to avail this scholarship if he or she is employed in a job with a salary, or stipend

How to apply for getting NTSE scholarship?

1) Students must visit the official website to fill the application form
2) Scanned copy of the photo of the candidates
3) Scanned copy of the signature of the candidates
4) Scanned copy of the caste certificate of the candidates
5) Scanned copy of disability certificate
6) Download and print the declaration by the Gazetted Officer and filled up
7) Fill the application form carefully and upload scanned photograph and signature(size of photograph and signature should not exceed 35kb and 30kb)
8) Applicants must remember the password. It is essential for further login
9) After submitting the online application form candidates must take SBI bank E-challan printout which has two parts.Log in with the given password and takes a printout of the online submission form after successful payment
