Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) under the Union Ministry of Commerce & Industry is set to launch Plastic Waste Management Campaign. The campaign will be launched under Swachhta Hi Sewa.

2) Secondly, ensure collection of plastic waste on and around industrial areas all across the country through nationwide shramdaan on 2nd October
DPIT has also requested state governments to sensitize Industrial Parks by focusing on Plastic Waste Management on a sustained and continuous basis.
