The first Naval Light Combat Aircraft Carrier Tejas launches into Indian Navy. A 4.5 generation, the lightweight, the multirole fighter was successfully executed at the Shore Based Test Facility, INS Hansa in Goa.

What is Shore Based Test Facility?

SBTF replicates the flight deck of an aircraft carrier. It was built to train naval pilots in complex maneuvers of landing on the short flight deck of an aircraft carrier before they move on to the actual carrier
