How to get Merit cum Means Scholarship for Minority Students in Punjab

Merit cum Means Scholarship for Minority Students is a scheme being implemented as a 100% Central Sponsored scheme. It is provided to those students who are pursuing technical or professional courses at graduate/post-graduate level in the institutions.

1)The annual income of the guardian of the applicant should not cross the limit of Rs 2.50lacs.
2)The award is provided to those students who scored not less than 50% marks or equivalent in the previous exam.
3)Renewal scholarship depends on successful completion of the course and not less than 50% marks.
4)A scholarship holder under this scheme will not avail any other scholarship during the session.
5)A student residing in Punjab only gets this scholarship.
6)Income certificate should be on a self-certification basis by way of an affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper.

1)The eligible students can apply online and forward their application online to the Institution and take a printout of the same. This printout, along with all documents, will be submitted to the Institute. Students will get a permanent ID for further reference.
2)The Institutions are advised to register themselves and verify without delay. Institutes will forward all these applications online by using User ID and password.
