How to get Merit cum Means Minority Scholarship Scheme in Haryana

Merit cum Means Minority Scholarship Scheme is for those who are belonging to the minority community and pursuing technical/professional courses at the undergraduate/postgraduate level in an Institutions recognized by Ministry of Minority Affairs, Govt of India.

1)Students should be a permanent resident of Haryana
2)The annual income of the family of a particular student should not cross the limit of Rs 2 lakh
3)1st class Magistrate should issue the Income Certificate and Minority community Certificate. Otherwise, the application must be rejected.
4)Aadhaar card number is mandatory to apply online.
5)Students get scholarship will not avail any other scholarship provided by the Govt of India.
6)Students should fill their Bank account details, PAN no, etc. Remember it that Bank account no should be Aadhaar linked.
7)If more than two students belong to the same family, they will not get a scholarship.
8)The amount of award will be directly transferred to the students’ bank account through DBT(Direct Benefit Transfer System).

1)Hostellers-Rs 10,000 per annum(Rs 1000 pm)
2)Day scholars-Rs 5000 per annum(Rs 500 pm)

1)Applications are accepted only online. They can apply on the website www.scholarships.gov.in
2)Students will forward their applications online to the school and take a printout. This printout, along with all the necessary documents, will e submitted to the school authorities. After submission, students will get a permanent ID which he/she has to keep carefully for future reference.
3)Students who are studying in other state ut domicile in Haryana can also apply online.
4)Students are advised to read the Terms and Conditions very carefully before filling the application.
