Government has launched Demand Side Management AC Scheme 2024 for domestic customers. In this Haryana AC Scheme 2024, the state govt. will provide air conditioners at 59% discount. Domestic consumers of urban and rural areas can fill Haryana AC Yojana Online Registration Form 2024 to get AC booked. On confirmed booking, each applicant will get AC installed at their home which will also promote energy conservation.
What is Air Conditioner Scheme 2024
Under Haryana AC Scheme 2024, around 1.05 lakh air conditioners will be made available at a discount of up to 59% of the Minimum Retail Price (MRP) to the people of the state. All the interested candidates will have to apply online for Haryana AC Yojana on the official portal. Power Department of Haryana govt. has tied up with three well-known companies, including Deccan, Blue Star and Voltas to give air conditioners under AC Yojana.

In Haryana AC Yojana, govt. will provide electricity cost saving split ACs of 1.5 ton capacity at low cost.
This program helps domestic consumers in the state replace their inefficient air conditioners with super-efficient ones at discounted prices.
what you need to know about AC Replacement Scheme
- Who can participate? Only domestic consumers of Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (UHBVN) and Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) are eligible.
- What ACs are eligible? You can replace old/inefficient ACs or install new super-efficient ACs with an ISEER rating of 5.41 or above.
- How many ACs can I get? You can replace up to 3 ACs per account and install 1 new AC.
- Where do I apply? Apply through the online portal of your respective Discom (UHBVN or DHBVN).
- What about my old AC? Authorized dealers/OEMs will responsibly dispose of your old AC in an eco-friendly way.
- How much discount can I get? Enjoy discounts of up to 59% on the MRP of new ACs!
- What type of AC is covered? The scheme only covers 1.5-ton split ACs.

Subsidy on Buying / Replacement of ACs in AC Yojana
Haryana state government has made a provision to give more subsidy to the consumers of rural areas than the consumers of urban areas under this scheme. Under this Haryana AC scheme, govt. will provide subsidy for the following:-
- Rs. 2,000 on buying a new AC in urban areas, Rs. 4,000 on replacement of the old AC.
- In rural areas, a subsidy of Rs. 4000 will be given for buying a new AC and Rs. 8,000 on replacement of old AC.
Discount on Buying / Exchanging AC
In Haryana AC Yojana 2024, around 1,05,000 lakh air conditioners will be made available at a discount of up to 59% of the Minimum Retail Price (MRP) to the people of the state. People applying for Haryana AC Yojana would get confirmed discount on buying new / replacing old AC.
Apart from this, consumers will also get savings in electricity bill because of the power saving capacity of the new ACs. By installing these energy saving new ACs, 657 power units will be saved in comparison to the old 3 star ACs and there will be annual savings of up to Rs 5,000.
Along with this, the compressor will get a warranty of up to 10 years and all other equipment up to one year. Under this scheme, the entire responsibility of fitting free ACs in the homes of the consumer will be of the authorized dealer.
